The Men’s Varsity Soccer team hosted Fairdale High School Tuesday night, September 27. The fall night, dry and cool, provided a pleasant evening not only to play a great match, but also to honor the senior class soccer players. The boys, flanked by their parents, walked across the soccer field while a brief narrative was read that showcased the players soccer history as well as presented their anticipated futures. |

CAL’s varsity soccer team played 5 games on the road this week. Three of the matches were part of Male High School’s annual Bulldog Cup, and the other two were regularly scheduled season games against district rival Eastern High School and state ranked #8 Collegiate High School. Other highlights of the week included Trevor Black (left) being interviewed by Vype Magazine (watch for the October issue to feature him in "Triple Play") and Tommy English (click "Read more" below for a picture) being chosen as Male Bulldog Cup All-tournament Team for his undying search-and-rescue missions as central defender with Jordan Shutt throughout the week.
